Supply Lists

Dear SCS Families,

The 2026–2027 school supply lists are now available! Please click the link below to view the complete supply list for your child by grade level. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school office or your child's teacher.

Thank you for being proactive and having your child's school supplies ready for Orientation on Monday, August 10. During Orientation, each teacher will have designated bins or collection areas for community supplies such as tissues, hand sanitizer, and other shared classroom items. The remaining supplies should be placed in your child's desk, cubby, or locker (if applicable).

We are looking forward to another wonderful school year and can't wait to welcome everyone back with their summer tans, fresh haircuts, and smiling faces!

Orientation Details

Elementary Classroom Orientation

1:00 PM – Preschool (K2–K4)
2:00 PM – Kindergarten (K5) – 2nd Grade
3:00 PM – 3rd–5th Grade

During your scheduled orientation, families will have the opportunity to:

Meet your child's teacher
Drop off school supplies
Visit the classroom
Learn about classroom expectations, procedures, communication, and the exciting plans for the upcoming school year

Junior High & High School Orientation

5:30 PM – Junior High Schedule Pickup & Meet the Teachers

6:30 PM – Required Junior High & High School Whole Group Orientation
Location: Sumiton Church of God

7:30 PM (or immediately following whole group orientation) – High School Schedule Pickup & Meet the Teachers

Junior High and High School students will have the opportunity to:

Pick up class schedules
Decorate lockers
Drop off school supplies
Meet teachers and visit classrooms

The 6:30 PM Whole Group Orientation is required for all Junior High and High School families. During this meeting, we will share important information regarding:

School-wide updates
New policies and procedures
Academic and extracurricular opportunities
Important dates and expectations
Our vision for this exciting 50th Anniversary school year
