Sumiton Christian School Athletics features a proud tradition of competitive success across multiple sports, emphasizing both excellence and character. The Eagles have captured multiple AHSAA State Championships — including baseball titles in 2004 and 2024 and fast-pitch softball championships in 2010, 2015, 2016, and 2017 — and varsity cheerleading secured back-to-back state titles in 2020 and 2021.

Across its programs, SCS teams consistently compete deep into the postseason. The baseball program has recorded 12 AHSAA playoff appearances, 17 area championships, and multiple top-ten statewide finishes, while its softball squads have frequently claimed area and regional titles and Elite Eight appearances. Other sports — including volleyball, golf, tennis and football — regularly compete in AHSAA postseason play, showcasing wide-ranging participation and competitive appearances beyond just state championship seasons.
